Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 August 2026
The short version: Rundle collects nothing. Your routines, timers and notes stay on your iPhone, and if you have iCloud turned on they sync privately through your own Apple Account. We operate no server, so there is no copy of your data anywhere we could look at.
Who we are
Rundle (“the app”) is an iPhone routine and timer app developed by Onur Yavuz (“we”, “us”). This policy explains how the app handles your information. It applies to the Rundle app distributed through the Apple App Store.
Data we collect
None. Rundle has no analytics, no advertising, no accounts and no tracking of any kind. In App Store terms, Rundle is labelled “Data Not Collected”.
- We do not collect personal information.
- We do not collect usage, crash or diagnostic analytics.
- We do not use advertising or third party tracking SDKs. The app contains no third party code of that kind at all.
- We do not track you across other apps or websites, so the app never asks for tracking permission.
- We do not require an account, an email address or a sign in.
- We do not sell or share your data, because we never receive it.
- Nothing you type is sent to an AI service. Rundle contains no AI features.
What the app stores, and where
Everything Rundle knows about you lives on your device: your routines and their steps, step durations, completed sessions and routine history, thoughts you park during a routine, reminder times, and preferences such as your theme and whether haptics are on.
If iCloud is enabled on your iPhone, this data also syncs through your own iCloud private database so it is backed up and restored when you set up a new device. That copy sits in your Apple Account, under Apple’s protection, and is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy. We have no access to it and no way to request it.
Network access
Rundle does not connect to any server operated by us, because we do not run one. It works fully offline. The only network activity happens inside Apple’s own systems:
- iCloud sync: handled by Apple between your own devices, if you have iCloud enabled.
- Purchases and restore: the optional one time Pro upgrade uses Apple’s StoreKit. Payment and receipt validation are handled by Apple, and we never see your payment details. We receive no personal information from a purchase.
Notifications and the Lock Screen
Rundle uses local notifications only. Reminders and step alerts are scheduled by the app and delivered by iOS on your device, with nothing sent over the network. There is no push server. The countdown shown on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island is drawn on your device as well.
Notification permission is requested only after you have created your first routine, not the moment you open the app, and the app keeps working if you decline.
Health and medical
Rundle is a timer and routine app designed with ADHD brains in mind. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose or treat anything, and it does not collect health data. It does not read from or write to Apple Health.
Children
Rundle is a general purpose productivity app and is not directed at children. Because we collect no data at all, we do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Deleting your data
You can delete any routine, session or parked thought inside the app. Deleting the app removes its data from that device. The copy held in your own iCloud account is managed by you in the iOS Settings app, under your Apple Account, in iCloud. There is nothing for us to delete on our side, because we never had a copy.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the date above. Material changes will appear here before they take effect.
